The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce bestowed a new honor that has been recommended for several years: the Above and Beyond Award.  Wendy Reiger, NBC4 Washington News Anchor and Master of Ceremonies of The Chamber’s  2019 Installation and Awards dinner June 11, announced, “this new award is presented to a member for notable, outstanding service to the Chamber and our members.  This person’s passion for getting involved, encouraging others to do the same, and leading by example with great professionalism, is a unique quality that should be recognized. “

Brian Wynne,  immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors,  presented  the award to Chamber Board and Executive Committee member Hill Slowinski of Long & Foster | Christie’s International Real Estate / Maryland Settlers LLC .   “Hill, there is no question that you are extremely deserving of being the first recipient of this award.  Through the years of your membership, you have shown unwavering support of the Chamber and all of our programs.  From chairing numerous committees to always being there when a Board representative is needed for events, ribbon cuttings or the Chamber 101’s, you have always gone above and beyond for the Chamber and our members.  Congratulations, Hill!”

Hill has also been re-elected to serve on The Chamber’s Board of Directors for a sixth year.
